Moore Colson CPA Begins Employee Exchange Program with United Kingdom...

Atlanta based CPA firm, Moore Colson recently kicked off its international employee exchange program with United Kingdom and IGAF Worldwide partner firm HURST. HURST is a leading business advisory and accounting firm in the North West of England, with offices in Manchester, Liverpool and Stockport. IGAF Worldwide is an international organization of independent local and regional firms of Certified Public Accountants.



The initial phase of the program brings Matt Severs, HURST Senior Accountant, to Atlanta and Moore Colson. At HURST, Matt is responsible for carrying out external statutory audits, internal audit assignments and SOX work for UK subsidiaries of US parent listed companies. While in the United States, Matt will become part of Moore Colson's Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) consulting team. The mutual goal of Moore Colson and HURST is for Mr. Severs to gain specific knowledge about Sarbanes-Oxley documentation and testing projects, among others, and take that knowledge and experience back to the UK to serve Moore Colson clients with subsidiaries located in the UK and throughout Europe, as well as expand HURST's service offerings to other subsidiary companies in the UK. Moore Colson and HURST have frequently visited each other's firms over the years, and have made a mutual commitment to expand the relationship to better serve mutual clients and broaden international reach.
