Revamps Podcast Licensing to Allow for Sampling
Podcasts carried at are now available to content producers including podcasters and main stream media under the Creative Commons Sampling Plus 1.0 License. This move supercedes the prior more restrictive license, making all podcast content past and present available for sampling; including the popular Apple iPod m4a format. , the company that spearheaded the search engine optimized press release revolution, is changing the way consumers interact with PR.

significant changes to their podcast licensing. Effective today all podcasts delivered through Podcast.com 's8217;s podcasting service, are released under the Creative Commons Sampling
Plus 1.0 license. This license is being made retroactively to all current and archived podcast content.
Under the terms of the new license individuals are permitted to; A) Sample, mash-up, or otherwise creatively transform this work for commercial or noncommercial purposes, and B) perform,
display, and distribute copies of this whole work for noncommercial purposes (e.g., file-sharing or noncommercial webcasting).The Sampling Plus 1.0 license allows for greater flexibility
