PortaKamp International LP Acquires Trademark



May 1 2005 PortaKamp International LP PKILP announced today the completed acquisition of the PortaKamp trademark and has leased the manufacturing facility located at 555 Gellhorn in Houston Texas PKILP is a newly capitalized entity with a multimillion dollar equity capital funding The new owners and management are all Houstonbased private individuals and businessmen with extensive oil and gas exploration production and refining engineering manufacturing and construction industry experience
The new partnership is led by industry veteran Mr Darrell W Williams who stated Since 1955 PortaKamp has provided highquality products to the oil gas and construction industries This new equity infusion will carry the PortaKamp name and product forward with much greater momentum in the marketplace Our management team and investors are excited about the prospects for our many product lines and will build on the strength and experience of our Houston employeebase
PKILP has acquired the international rights to the PortaKamp name as well as all intellectual property related to the construction of remotearea housing and specialtyuse facilities - products that bring with them a reputation for the highest quality in the industry PKILP is committed to the development of new products to meet changing client needs The core capabilities of the engineering design and manufacturing staff are being retained and strengthened as our new management team builds on the history and reputation of PortaKamp and implements modern purchasing production inventory and accounting controls
PKILP has strategic relationships with domestic and international clients that will quickly expand PortaKamp products into new markets as well as deepen product penetration with previous clients The marketing focus will continue to emphasize quality innovative product at a competitive price
