Robert Higgins JD CEBS Joins Benefit Plans Plus LLC As Senior Consultant...

March 6, 2005 -- Robert Higgins has joined Benefit Plans Plus as senior consultant and leader of the newly created fiduciary services practice. He is responsible for consulting fiduciaries in defining and fulfilling their ERISA and investment fiduciary duties. His areas of focus will be fiduciary training, fiduciary audit (ERISA and Investment), review of fiduciary structure, design and implement fiduciary governance and structuring systems to ensure compliance with mandatory requirements.



Prior to joining Benefit Plans Plus Higgins served as Vice President of Institutional Trust at U.S. Bank in St. Louis and Kansas City. His work experience includes more than 25 years in the qualified plan business with several major regional banks and a national consulting firm.



Higgins, a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies from Youngstown State University and a Juris Doctor degree at the University of Akron School of Law. He is a member of the International Society of Employee Benefit Specialist and the Employee Benefits Association of St. Louis.



Higgins resides in Shrewsbury with his wife Susan.
