Brown Smith Wallace LLC Promotes Patrick Shelton GBA To Principal

January 23, 2005 -- Patrick M. Shelton has been promoted to principal in Benefit Plans Plus, a subsidiary of Brown Smith Wallace.



Shelton's role as principal recognizes his more than 15 years of experience in the retirement plan industry. In addition to his new responsibilities, Shelton will continue to serve as director of business development where he executes the business plan, brings new business to the firm and develops new products.



Shelton has earned the Group Benefits Association (GBA) designation and is currently completing the last exam for the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation. He also holds a Missouri Life and Health insurance license.



Shelton resides in Ballwin with his wife Katie and their three children Taylor age nine, Dylan age seven, and Lydia age five.
