BMTbase 4 Beta Version Released

STEMSOFT Software is pleased to announce the release of BMTbase's174; version 4 to its beta partners. Completely redesigned from the ground up using .NET technology, version 4 is a browser-based application allowing for easier user access, deployment and more robust database management and security.

BMTbase's174; version 4 aligns with the new reporting requirements of the Stem Cell Therapeutics Outcomes Database (SCTOD) managed by the Center for International Blood and Marrow Research (CIBMTR's174;) and the National Marrow Donor Program's174; (NMDP). BMTbase's174; implements the AGNIS's174; communication system for retrieving data submitted to the CIBMTR from the FormsNet's8482; 2 application which provides users with real-time form management and validation for the Harmonized TED and Comprehensive Report Forms.

BMTbase's174; users subscribing to the STEMSOFT Annual Maintenance 's38; Support Plan will receive this upgrade automatically complete with multi-site live online training sessions and updated user and installation documentation.

BMTbase's174; version 4 includes the following new functionality:

- Browser-Based Intranet Access (via internal institutional web server)

- Updated and User-Friendly Analytics Reporting of the New Harmonized NMDP/CIBMTR Forms via Integration with the AGNIS's174; communication system

- More Robust Database Management and Security

- Ability to generate the American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplant (ASBMT) Request for Information (RFI) form for insurance reporting

- One click download into MS Excel for further statistical review and distribution

This shift to a web-based system will require that all current BMTbase's174; users have a web / application server and a database server. STEMSOFT encourages our existing clients to discuss these new hardware requirements with their internal Information Technology Team.
