West Hartford Business Owner to Donate Profits to Hartford Hospital...

In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, The Perfect Promotion LLC, a promotional products, imprinted apparel and graphic design company based in West Hartford, is celebrating their 10th anniversary in business by hosting a breakfast thank you for its customers and special guests on Friday, October 21 at 7:30 am at the Pond House Café in West Hartford. In addition, The Perfect Promotion is donating a percentage of the company's sales throughout the month of October to Hartford Hospital's Partnership for Breast Care, a comprehensive breast center that works with all the different specialists helping to evaluate and treat breast problems.



Supporting breast cancer research and raising awareness has been a personal and passionate battle for Jody Ferrer, owner of The Perfect Promotion. After losing her mother to cancer in 1996 after a ten year battle, Ms. Ferrer committed herself to raising money, both locally and nationally, to help eradicate the disease



"I am doing all that I can to support efforts to fight this disease and honor the memory of my mother and all of those who suffer with cancer today," said Ferrer. "My business is promotion, and I cannot think of anything worth promoting more than breast cancer awareness."



Monies donated by The Perfect Promotion will assist the Partnership for BreastCare's ongoing commitment to treating patients with cancer. The Partnership includes Hartford Hospital and specialty providers. They diagnose and treat over 500 breast cancer patients each year.



"Having local companies such as The Perfect Promotion actively supporting breast cancer awareness is vital to the community and to the people we treat," said Roxanne Rotondaro, Coordinator, Partnership for BreastCare.
