UV Exposure Study: Test conducted by an independent laboratory for the equivalent to 6 months and 12 months exposure to UV light using a controlled irradiance water cooled XENON ARC apparatus and run to SAE J1960 accelerated exposure of automotive exterior materials resulted in excellent film integrity. The 4930UV was almost perfect after the 6-month test and even after the 12-month conditions and peeling of the two WindOcoat 4930 samples was very easy.

Patch Test: Because it is difficult to determine the type of substrate of the window frame such as type of acrylic, we suggest you perform a small test first. This will determine 4930 effectiveness, coverage, and the approximate amount of time required for it to work.
