CARA Qualifies for Connecticut Neighborhood Tax Assistance Credit from Eligible Businesses
The Connecticut Neighborhood Assistance Act Tax Credit Program provides a
tax credit to business firms that make cash investments in qualifying community programs conducted by tax exempt or municipal agencies. CARA has been approved both by the City of New London and by the Department of Revenue Services (DRS) to participate in the NAA.
The Connecticut Neighborhood Assistance Act (NAA) Tax Credit Program is designed to provide funding for municipal and tax exempt organizations by providing a corporation business
tax credit for businesses who make cash contributions to these entities. CARA has been added to the list of eligible non-profits to which qualifying businesses may donate. Businesses receive a credit of 60% of their approved contribution to certain programs approved by the Department of Revenue Services.
Donate to CARA through the Neighborhood Assistance Act Tax Credit Program** by filling out Form NAA-02 (call CARA or visit www.ct.gov) and mailing to:

A faxed Form NAA-02 will not be accepted.
**Subchapter S Corporations, Limited Liability Companies, Limited Liability Partnerships, and Limited Partnerships are not eligible for the credit.
