Free Child Safety Day Sponsored by 7 Tigers Taekwondo and Hapkido
April 28 2005 7 Tigers Taekwondo and Hapkido is sponsoring a free Child Safety Day at their location next to the Antiquer's Mall on Rt 29 North beginning at 10am on Saturday May 14
Instructors and students of 7 Tigers will be assisting the Albemarle Police Department in fingerprinting children The police will be running their bicycle safety course and McGruff the Crime Dog will be there as well Attendees can make a short video of themselves
and their children to take home and have on hand in case of an emergency such as for suspected abductions Instructors will be talking with parents about basic selfdefense for themselves
and their children
7 Tigers is giving away a free safety whistle to each family while supplies last Warm weather sends kids outside to play even more and the potential for losing sight of your children at playgrounds beaches and campgrounds is greater now says Tom Henzey Grand Master of 7 Tigers A whistle can call your kids back when they stray too far or alert people that you need help in an emergency
Families are invited to enjoy free pizza provided by Domino's Pizza There will be taekwondo hapkido and weapons demonstrations throughout the day as well as other events and activities for children and parents to enjoy
