Children's lack of Self-Esteem is one of the reasons for decreased school attendance and behavioral problems in class. In our present world of so much fear and uncertainty, children feel insecure and lash out. The need to bring change about is ever present. Founder and initiator of Self-Esteem Tools for Teachers, Anke Otto-Wolf, an educator herself, has created the Self-Esteem Quilt Concept.

To counter behavioral problems in class and at home, Otto-Wolf's approach is to teach and implement the many facets of self-esteem, just as one would fashion the many patches for a beautiful quilt.
