Each week, CICC Director and Founder Kerby T. Alvy, Ph.D. will offer practical advice, educational tips, and valuable resources on how to be as effective and peaceful as possible in raising and educating children.
Dr. Alvy will also present his views on the latest parenting and child development news, research and trends that will keep readers up-to-date on what's happening in the field.
Readers' thoughts, reactions and questions are encouraged and welcomed.
Some of the topics readers can currently comment on include whether political leaders like President Bush should be advocates for effective parenting, or how parents of unruly preschoolers can best be helped.
