Coalition of Lab Schools Teams with BAM Radio Network to ProduceSegments...

Today, the BAM Radio Network (BRN), a joint project of Moving 's38; Learning and Jackstreet Media, announced that the National Coalition for Campus Children'ss Centers has launched NCCCC Radio online. The new media channel will offer its members in eleven states the nationally syndicated program Body, Mind and Child, with host Rae Pica, along with selected programming from the BAM Radio Network.

The program is Nanocasted on the NCCCC web site at http://www.campuschildren.org.

Sherry Waugh, NCCCC president, said, We are delighted that Rae Pica has teamed with NCCCC to provide a new member benefit - NCCCC Radio. Interviews with leading child development experts offer compelling content to help educators and administrators of early childhood programs address their daily challenges. The radio interviews are also a source of invaluable information for parents seeking high quality child development information to guide and support their parenting decisions.

NCCCC schools are early education labs spearheading research in early childhood development and leading the discovery of next practices in developmentally appropriate child care and quality programs for young children. NCCCC and BAM Radio will co-produce special segments from the lab to be featured on the network.

The practical knowledge that is being amassed across the NCCCCC centers offers a wonderful opportunity to identify the best emerging models for providing safe, healthy and developmentally sound child care for children, said Rae Pica, co-founder of the BAM Radio Network. About NCCCC

The National Coalition for Campus Children'ss Centers (NCCCC) is a nonprofit educational membership organization. NCCCC supports research and activities affecting college and university early childhood education and service settings, family and work issues, and the field of early childhood education in general. NCCCC expresses this mission through its newsletters, publications, conferences and grants.

The seeds of NCCCC were sown during the activist climate of the 1970s in Riverside, California, where an informal non-profit organization was formed called the Robert F. Kennedy Council on Campus Child Care. This Council had as its major goal the promotion of quality comprehensive child care at institutions of higher education so that it would be available for all students who sought it, and for all children who needed it. After several transitions resulting from the growth of the organization and the needs of its members, in 1982 the National Coalition for Campus Child Care was formally incorporated as a membership organization. NCCCC currently has chapters in eleven states from New York to Arizona.

About BAM Radio Network

The BAM Radio Network was originally launched as a resource for parents, aimed at delivering the most reliable information on early childhood development and developmentally appropriate parenting to busy moms and dads. Created by leading early childhood experts, the programming quickly became a popular resource among teachers and educators and was expanded to include an Educators's Channel.
