Options for Uninsured Patients Just Got Better



Options for uninsured patients to obtain affordable healthcare just got easier. UCR Health Centers, an urgent care center based in Chandler and Prescott, Arizona, just announced the release of its UCR CareClub Silver and Gold Membership Plans. The healthcare program is targeted to individuals who are not able to afford insurance, and do not qualify for state Medicaid plans. The CareClub Membership can also be used by patients who have extremely high deductible plans or are regular annual visitors to the state of Arizona from other countries, such as Canada.



Every year, more than 47 million Americans live without health insurance and that number is unfortunately projected to rise rapidly. In Arizona, over the past eight years, average health premiums rose 3.5 times faster than average household earnings, and the cost of health insurance now imposes a greater burden on family and small business budgets than ever before.

Patients can purchase a membership to the urgent care for a very low monthly fee, and when they need care their urgent care visit fee is over one hundred dollars cheaper than a regular visit. In addition, UCR Health Centers's urgent care offers deep discounts on the cost of additional services such as x-ray, suturing, splints and crutches.



UCR Health Centers is also unique in that it promotes health and wellness. For a monthly fee which is slightly more than the base program, patients can choose the Gold Plan option which further reduces rates on wellness options such as medical massage therapy, acupuncture, chiropractic medicine, rehabilitation, and nutritional supplements.



We think this is a great option for patients who are struggling with the cost of healthcare right now.
