God Is No Respecter of Persons



Sandra King, in her new book Adam and the Woman: A Prophetic Picture of Jesus and His Bride (paperback, 978-1-60477-432-0), hopes to show that God used the account of Adam and Eve in Genesis to paint a picture of His Son, Jesus, and His bride. She further hopes that "readers, both Jew and Gentile, will see the deep love God has for mankind because they are created in His image and the grace of God in the scarlet thread of atonement through shed blood woven throughout Scripture."

The Old Testament requirement of blood for atonement "foreshadowed God's plan of redemption through the shed, sinless blood of Jesus," she says. "God honored the Jewish people by bringing the Savior of the world into the world through the womb of a pure Jewish woman." God does not value one person over another, and He desires that all people come to His Son for salvation and eternal life.

The book is an in-depth study of Adam and Eve and the woman's seed through Noah and his sons. It begins in Genesis and continues through Revelation. "It will show the hidden manna of Christ and His redemption through the Scriptures and also the nature of the kingdom of evil," the author says.
