Says Jones, "My story deals with everyday issues but also deals with tough issues as rejection, amputation, and even death. It's more than fiction. (My story) has many real-life lessons we can all benefit from, such as the power of forgiveness and accepting God's forgiveness. I believe my story will inspire readers by helping them gain insight into biblical truths that are useful in everyday life, no matter their theology."
Inspired by the belief that the choices we make not only affect our lives, but our eternity as well, Jones penned her novel to share this knowledge with others who are perhaps struggling with being obedient to God. But, says the author, once she trusted God for all the important decisions in her life, the reward was huge. "Through the struggles, I've learned to trust God," she says. "If I can share that message with just one person and it makes a different in their life, then I have served a ministry God created me for."
