New Novel Addresses Domestic Abuse Based on Christian Religion Teachings
Running a dairy farm, caring for three children and a living with demanding, controlling husband was the day-to-day routine Yvette had faced alone for 15 years in the bucolic Midwest countryside. The Christian religion played an integral part of Waneta Dawn's childhood on a dairy farm in Kalona, Iowa. Soon after leaving the farm, she married and had one daughter. After experiencing domestic abuse in her own marriage, she spent several years researching the crime particularly dominance through verbal, emotional and spiritual abuse.
