New Advanced Chroming System Shines Bright for less Money



Sending out fenders, wheels or other antique auto parts for traditional chrome plating is expensive. Now there'ss an innovative new system that provides a gleaming chrome-like finish at a fraction of the cost. The PChrome (tm) system was developed by Peacock Laboratories of Philadelphia, PA, a firm that revolutionized the brightness of mirror reflection with a new silvering technology.



The new PChrome system relies on the build up of a series of layers that are simply sprayed on -- no immersion tanks of cyanide are involved. While the process is exacting and each coating must be carefully mixed and applied, no special skills or experience is required. Users say they quickly achieve a finish that looks as good as chrome, and that goes for beginners as well as body shop professionals.





PChrome users have also found the substrate bonding of this finishing system as hard and enduring as traditional chrome plating, maybe even more so. PChrome is also highly resistant to salt air and other envirommental corrosives.



Recently a finisher tested PChrome by etching cross hatch lines every 1/16th inch. He then pressed duct tape to the surface and pulled it up to see how many PChrome squares would release. None did. He said all other competitive systems he'sd used failed this test.

This includes all the spray guns, hoses and other ancillary equipment required to coat PChrome on a variety of substrates from glass, to ceramic tile, to plastics to metal.
