One of North Americas Largest Private Collections of Automotive Memorabilia...

Mr. Thomas and Marlene Stackhouse's automotive collection represents a lifetime of collecting, filling two barns and has never been offered to the public before. Canadian auction house RM Auctions has been chosen to handle this important sale scheduled for September 15-18, 2005 in Delhi, Ontario.



The occasion of this sale marks an important event to collectors of petroliana, memorabilia and nostalgia alike as most items from the private collection are uniquely rare or one-of-a-kind. The four-day auction will include the sale of approximately 28 cars and motorcycles from the Stackhouse collection, as well as some additional selected automobile consignments.



Rare collectibles will include a fine selection of important period tin toys, pedal cars, a significant collection of over 2,000 mascots and hood ornaments, approximately 700 porcelain and tin signs, jukeboxes, neon signs, factory original tire memorabilia dating back as far as the turn of the century, and an extremely impressive collection of petroliana, including nostalgic oil company signs, globes, faces and gas pumps.

The sale will be held on location at the Stackhouse Classic Auto Ranch 2148 Hwy #3 in Delhi, Ontario. The sale preview is Wednesday, Sept. 14 from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Auction days are from Thursday until Sunday, Sept. 15 - 18 beginning at 9:00 a.m.
