Six Weekly Winners Receive Prizes from Auto Meter in RacingJunk.com...



Gary Matthews of Tacoma, Washington, Michael Cruz of Ropesville, Texas, Thomas Roney of Ridgefield, Illinois, Joshua Wachter of Mentone, California, Tom Simpson of Fresno, California and Roy Beckett of Hugoton, Kansas each won the product prizes from Auto Meter. Auto Meter offers solutions for any level of performance monitoring, from critical systems to nitrous or boost. Auto Meter'ss line includes styling and quality levels for everything from sport compact, street, restoration and street rod to all-out performance. The company has also recently introduced the new Ultra-Lite Pro Data Acquisition System to the performance racing market.



The 2008 Sponsorship Giveaway is RacingJunk.com'ss way of supporting the grassroots racers who are at the heart of its membership. Since the 2008 Giveaway began in early April, one weekly winner has been randomly selected each week. Those 30 weekly winners, including Matthews, Cruz, Roney, Wachter, Simpson and Beckett, are now competing to win one of three major prizes.



During this final lap of the 2008 Giveaway, RacingJunk.com members will view the RJ RaceSpace profiles of the weekly winners and then vote for their favorites. The voting page, which lists all the contenders and includes links to their RJ RaceSpace profiles, is located at http://www.racingjunk.com/2008_giveaway/voting. The voting period runs from November 3rd through November 21st. Anyone who is at least a basic member of RacingJunk.com is eligible to vote. The three contestants with the most votes will be flown to the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) show in Orlando, Florida where the Grand Prize winner will be announced on December 13, 2008.



The Grand Prize, currently valued at over $100,000, is a 34-foot Haulmark race trailer loaded with product from some of the best names in performance racing, including Auto Meter. The trailer also includes racing equipment and tools from other Giveaway sponsors, including Snap-on, Simpson, Lincoln Electric, Goodridge, RH2way, Barry Grant, Champion System, Gemini, Mickey Thompson, Molecule, Safety Solutions, Nitrous Express and Holley.



The second place winner will take home over $15,000 worth of tools and racing equipment from Auto Meter and the other Giveaway sponsors. The third place winner will receive more than $10,000 worth of tools and racing equipment, including performance products from Auto Meter.
