This play will perform one special show at The Alabama Shakespeare Festival (Octagon Stage) in historical Montgomery, AL, on Monday, Feb. 4th, sponsored by the Rosa Parks Museum on what would have been Mrs. Parks' 94th birthday. Jack Zink of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel called it "a well-crafted play classy warm engaging performance ultimately belongs in the theaters."
Ed Bumgardner from Winston-Salem Journal calls Ella Joyce "spellbinding" as Rosa Parks. This show moves onto the University of Santa Cruz, The Harlem School of the Arts, and Wayne State University in Detroit to close out Black History Month, and is being booked throughout the rest of the year by community churches, schools, theaters, special events, and organizations.
