Today, the BAM Radio Network (BRN), a joint project of Moving & Learning and Jackstreet Media, announced the launch of Mom Central Radio at www.momcentral.com. The new channel will nanocast BRN's premier program, Body, Mind and Child (www.bodymindandchild.com), hosted by Rae Pica, a 30-year veteran in the field of early childhood education. The program offers insightful discussions with the nation's leading experts on the issues parent and teachers care about most.

"Stacy DeBroff is a nationally recognized parenting expert and has developed a strong community around her work at Mom Central. We're delighted to partner with her to expand the valuable offerings to busy moms," said Rae Pica.

Stated Stacy DeBroff, "I'm so pleased with the alliance between Mom Central and Body, Mind and Child. The BAM podcasts offer vital information for parents of young children and allow us to further our mission of providing pragmatic tips and advice to support busy families and enhance the home environment."

About Mom Central:

Mom Central is a one-stop web resource dedicated to providing busy moms with smart household and parenting solutions. Whether a mom is looking for the latest AAP guidelines on toddlers and media, advice on how to handle that sticky situation with the PTA, or just a place to find suggestions on what book to include on a bedside table, Mom Central has it covered.

After a successful career as a lawyer and founder of the public interest advising office at Harvard Law School, Mom Central founder Stacy DeBroff left the corporate world to write books for parents and spend more time with her own two children, now ages 13 and 15. She went on to become a nationally acclaimed parenting expert and bestselling author of The Mom Book, The Mom Book Goes to School, SIGN ME UP!, and Mom Central: The Ultimate Family Organizer, as well as the creator of www.momcentral.com.

About BAM Radio Network:

The BAM Radio Network was launched to address the severe imbalance in parenting practices caused by the "commercialization of parenting" and the emphasis on intellectual development that excludes the critical role of the mind/body connection in early childhood. Created by leading early childhood experts, the programming challenges the popular genre of parenting notions that has given rise to commercial products like Baby Einstein, Brainy Baby and lapware, all of which claim to accelerate a child's mental development in the face of science that suggests otherwise. The network is a joint venture between New Hampshire-based Moving & Learning and Los Angeles-based Jackstreet Media Ventures LLC. The program is produced by Emmy award-winning broadcaster Errol Smith and distributed through the Affiliate Nanocasting Network.
