Marjorie H. Reiter, FACHE, a PhD student at Capella University (http://www.capella.edu/default.aspx), an accredited, online university (http://www.capella.edu/online_university.aspx) based in Minneapolis, has been elected regent of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), representing Arizona. ACHE is an international professional society of more than 30,000 healthcare executives. It is recognized for its credentialing and educational programs.
"I'll continue to uphold ACHE's dedication to excellence in healthcare management for Arizona," said Reiter. "I am devoted to developing future healthcare leaders as well as supporting
those now in the field through ACHE's outstanding resources and educational programs."
Reiter will serve a three-year term as the elected representative from Arizona. The role designates her as liaison between the national organization and state chapter. She will promote
and raise awareness of ACHE programs, services, and activities. Reiter's goal as regent is to expand the state chapter by connecting members scattered throughout Arizona through tools
such as webinars and teleconferences.

Reiter, who is board certified in healthcare management as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), is pursuing her doctorate in health care administration at
Capella. She has served as manager of Ambulatory Specialty Services at Maricopa Integrated Health System since 2005. Prior to this position, she was responsible for telemedicine and
health facilities construction at Correctional Health Services in Phoenix and was director of Imaging Services at Columbia Phoenix Medical Center.
