Texas AM Aggie Corps of Cadets Releases 2009 Calendar of Events



The Texas A's38;M Aggie Corps of Cadets have released their calendar of upcoming events for the spring and summer of 2009.



Spend the Night with the Corps - An overnight program for high school juniors offered:



January 29-30


February 5-6


February 12-13


February 19-20


February 26-27


March 5-6


March 9-10


March 23-24


March 26-27


March 30-31


April 2-3


April 6-7


April 13-14


April 20-21


April 23-24


April 27-28




Spend the Day with the Corps - A daylong program for high school juniors and seniors and their parents offered June 26 and July 24.



4H 's38; FFA Program - A two-day program for high school seniors and juniors actively involved in 4H or FFA offered March 27-28.



Junior Cadet Accession Program (JCAP) - A program for high school students involved in Junior ROTC, Civil Air Patrol, Young Marines and Sea Cadets offered March 6-7.



Aggie Eagle Program - A program for high school scouts and their parent offered February 27-28.



Nichols's Rising Leaders Conference - A conference for sophomore cadets to prepare them for leadership roles within the Corps of Cadets, held April 2-4.



March to the Brazos - An 18-mile round trip hike that is the largest student-led fundraiser for the March of Dimes in the United States, held April 25.



Commissioning and Final Review - The final Corps of Cadets event for the 2008-2009 school year where military officers are commissioned and a transfer of Corps leadership takes place, held May 15-16.
