Bank of America Purchases Ergotech Monitor Arms to Mount 18000 FlatPanel...



Ergotech Group, the maker of monitor arms and other ergonomic office products, announced that Bank of America has purchased Ergotech monitor arms to mount 18,000 flat-panel monitors in the new Bank of America Tower in midtown Manhattan. An Ergotech official said it was very likely the single largest sale ever of monitor mounting arms to any company.



"The significance of our winning this business, in terms of its size, the customer, and the building, is a terrific testimony to the ergonomic design, exclusive features and overall quality of our products," said Chris Malisse, President and founder."Ergotech arms will be used both at trading desks and office workstations," said Malisse, "and their installation is already well underway." Ergotech is also providing the installation services for the monitor arms, he said. The Bank of America Tower opens this year.



Multi-screen displays are used widely in finance and other fields such as law enforcement, television, design, and general industry. The adoption of flat-panel monitors now allows as many as 15 screens to be mounted over one desk using Ergotech monitor arms.Ergotech specializes in mounts for LCD monitors and flat-panel screens, with a focus on ergonomic features for user comfort as well as practical aspects such as ease of assembly and adjustment, durability, and appealing design.
