Council Enhances Public Service Delivery through Citrix

Today more than ever, Derry City Council depends on the ability to access, share and act on vital information across different locations and departments.



In light of this, Derry City Council is in the process of rolling out Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 throughout the organisation. Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 is the number one application virtualisation solution for providing users with secure access to client/server applications from anywhere, using any device or connection.



Secure remote access is a strategic priority for the Council. Citrix enhances workforce mobility and provides on-demand access for councillors to business-critical applications and documents without compromising security. By leveraging from this infrastructure, the result is a higher level of service to employees and the community.



Intertech, a Citrix Platinum partner, has been selected by the Council to deliver the extended Citrix solution. With an office in Derry, Intertech has implemented and supported Citrix for an extensive portfolio of clients including Dell Computer Corp, FBD and the Department of Justice. At the annual Citrix Ireland awards, Intertech was awarded four of the six accolades including the Highest Growth Partner Award.
