Released nationally on Channel 10 in Australia in early January of this year, 's8220;In Plane Site's8221; caused an overwhelming number of calls to flood the station and network executives found themselves hustling to meet the demands for re-airings of the program. Numerous e-mails of support have poured into the offices of the producer and the director of the documentary. As of 2006, residents of Australia can walk into over two-dozen chain stores, including Target, and pick their DVD right off the retail shelf, thanks to the efforts of Christopher McIlrath Films Pty Ltd located in New South Wales, Australia, who is planning similar distribution arrangements in a growing list of other interested countries.
