The new features in Jenzabar'ss Internet Campus Solution (JICS) Version 7.0 (http://www.jenzabar.net/products.aspxid=136) include a faster interface and advanced customization options, allowing institutions to leverage in-house technology to deliver a Web-based social environment that strengthens the affiliation between constituents and academic and community groups, both on and off campus.

Jenzabar'ss Internet Campus Solution connects candidates, students, alumni, faculty, and staff to an institution'ss database at any time from any Internet browser. The newest release, JICS Version 7.0, is built on Microsoft'ss .NET 3.5 framework for overall faster performance, extended capabilities to customize the campus portal, and additional password security. JICS Version 7.0 also incorporates a News/Blog portlet to give authors the ability to post news (including text and images); allows users to blog and post comments within JICS; and enables constituents to subscribe to an RSS feed for specific campus notifications or other important resources.
