Jitterbit Announces New Additions to Open Source Integration Solution



Jitterbit, Inc., the pioneer of open source integration productivity software, today announced the general release of Jitterbit 1.3, a major upgrade to its open source business integration solution. Jitterbit 1.3 includes features such as native LDAP source and target support, XML streaming, and multi-threaded chunking for fast transactions of high volume data.A majority of the new features were included at the request of the open source community and Jitterbit's enterprise customers, resulting in significant productivity gains for all Jitterbit users.

* XML Streaming combined with a new data chunking processes allow companies to process high volumes of data much quicker when accessing applications via web services such as salesforce.com Netsuite and SugarCRM.


* HTTP Upload was added to allow for large file uploads that add new flexibility for connecting to different applications and content management systems such as Microsoft Sharepoint.


* Fully graphical, native support for LDAP as a source and target was co-designed with NASA to give non-developers the ability to easily setup integrations with LDAP servers such as Active Directory
