New CAT5 KVM Switches from StarTech.com Maximize Distance for Controlling...

The eight port StarView CAT5 KVM Switch (SV831DUTP) and the sixteen port StarView KVM Switch (SV1631DUTP) allow UTP (CAT5) connection between the KVM Switch and slave (remote) computers, servers and/or KVM Switches. Utilizing CAT5 cable in contrast to the conventionally used coax cable provides neater, more cost-effective connections, and greater connection distances (up to 130') than are typically offered by traditional KVM Switches.

StarTech.com's 8 Port and 16 Port CAT5 KVM Switches will be available directly available from leading resellers including CDW, Insight and PC Connection. These products are also distributed by Ingram Micro, Tech Data, D&H and SYNNEX.
