NextWindow Establishes Operations Headquarters in Singapore toSupport...

NextWindow, the market and technology leader in optical touch screens for personal computers, today announced the opening of its global operations headquarters in Singapore. Established as NextWindow Singapore PTE Ltd., the new office will provide sales, service and engineering support to customers and partners in the region and globally. The office will also enable NextWindow to work more closely with PC manufacturers and original design manufacturers (ODMs) on the next generation of touch screen-enabled PCs.

Southeast and North Asia are at the center of a consumer-driven initiative to develop new touch screen PCs for the world market. All of the largest PC and LCD display brand companies have their products manufactured in the region, either directly or through their Asia-based ODMs. NextWindow Singapore will work with these and other customers and partners to design and develop new touch-enabled personal computing products. NextWindow Singapore initially will have a staff of 10, including Vice President of Global Operations, Nigel Devine.
