Plixer Announces Technology Compatible with sFlow

Plixer International (www.plixer.com) announced additional integration with sFlow technology. SFlow provides amazing insight into network traffic both in WAN/LAN connections and it scales to enterprise class infrastructures. The result allows customers who have invested in sFlow hardware to quickly understand utilization and communication patterns.

Including sFlow analysis in Scrutinizer v6.0 means that Plixer is adding support for vendor hardware from Foundry Networks, Force10 Networks, HP Procurve, Extreme Networks, Alcatel-Lucent, Enterasys and Juniper.

"We are making it easier for enterprises to analyze traffic patterns across the network infrastructure. Plixer is committed to sFlow, a technology which helps IT professionals manage and gain insight into network infrastructure traffic details." said Michael Patterson, Product Manager.

Customers will be able to use the sFlow analysis feature in the free and commercial versions of Scrutinizer. Reports include visibility into network traffic, such as top talkers, top applications and connections.

Pricing:

Scrutinizer is free; however, there are commercial versions available with additional features. Prices include $1,995 for 5 routers, $4,995 for 25 routers, or $8,995 for unlimited routers.
