Seneca Data Named First Intel Authorized Integrator To Meet Channel...

Seneca Data, the leader in custom system innovation, has been named by Intel Corporation as the first Intel Authorized Integrator under a new program unveiled at the Intel Channel Conference (ICC).

The Intel Authorized Integrator initiative provides Associate and Registered Members a channel source for complete built-to-order systems and gives full program credit for those systems. Intel Technology Providers who buy through an Intel Authorized Integrator enjoy a wider range of Intel channel benefits than those who do not, including access to the Intel Sales Tools Store, training opportunities, and marketing resources. This initiative was created in response to channel members' requests to have their membership status reflected for all channel purchases.

According to Steve Maser, Vice President of Product Development and Marketing, "Resellers are frequently faced with a 'buy vs. build' decision when architecting custom computing solutions. This new Authorized Integrator program from Intel is a great way to augment their sourcing options and get credit for both the units they build and those they choose to buy fully integrated."

Seneca Data was selected as the first Intel Authorized Integrator based in part on the ability to meet the following criteria:

-    Is an Intel Premier Provider

-    Sells fully configured built-to-order systems, based on Intel technology

-    Works as a total solutions architect

-    Buys genuine Intel products through authorized distribution and passes program credit through to channel Members

-    Provides branded, co-branded, and private label offerings for fully configured desktops, notebooks, and servers

Seneca Data representatives will be onsite to discuss the Intel Authorized Integrator initiative and Mobile Channel Leader program at the following Intel Channel Conference venues:

-    June 6        Philadelphia, PA
