YesSoftware today announced that it will support InMotion Systems' open source ASP.NET application framework in its Web development (http://www.yessoftware.com/index2.php) tool CodeCharge Studio and bundle UltraApps' popular open source Web applications with CodeCharge Studio. Additionally, YesSoftware will invest $500,000 into both companies and work with each company to develop new technologies and software for the mid-enterprise market.
One of the key initiatives is the support for InMotion Framework within YesSoftware's rapid Web application development (http://www.yessoftware.com/index2.php) tool CodeCharge Studio. The InMotion's application framework will be available as an
alternative to the code generation engine of CodeCharge Studio. This will allow CodeCharge Studio to be used by ASP.NET developers as an application generator rather than a code generator
and enable them to have greater control of their code. The resulting Web applications will be clearly structured and component driven, providing developers the ability to use Microsoft
Visual Studio for further maintenance and development. Additionally, the open source InMotion Framework will be updated by the development community, making more frequent updates to
CodeCharge Studio and Visual Studio users available. The InMotion Framework is available for download at Google Code: http://www.ultraapps.com) is a Polish Web development company
