Zimory CTO to Speak at Virtual Cloud Slam 09 Conference Callsfor Keeping...

Open standards, open development processes and a community will be key to the future of cloud computing, according to Maximilian Ahrens, CTO of Zimory GmbH (www.zimory.com) - the world'ss only suppler of an Enterprise-class marketplace for buying and selling cloud computing.

Ahrens will speak at Cloud Slam 's09 -- the largest virtual cloud computing conference - April 23 at 1:00 ET.

Ahrens is an expert and frequent speaker on service oriented architecture and virtualization. Before co-founding Zimory, he was a research scientist at the innovation development department of Deutsche Telekom Laboratories.

If the Open Source revolution taught us anything -- it was that by using open standards, open development processes and a community, resources could be built quickly, securely and better, Ahrens said.
