1020 Glass Art 's38; D's233;cor (www.1020glassart.com) announced that it is expanding from its current Barton Creek Square store with the opening of a second location in The Domain 's8211;one of Austin'ss premier shopping destinations.
Located at 11401 Century Oaks Terrace, the 1020 Glass Art Design Center features 1,700 square feet of retail space dedicated to exhibiting affordable blown glass art. The spacious new location permits 1020 Glass Art to serve its growing base of residential clients and commercial interior designers by expanding its inventory to over 1,000 unique works of art.
The Domain location offers a first-of-its-kind Glass Art Design Center, staffed with Art Consultants trained to assist individual customers and interior designers alike in the selection of colorful art glass tailored to make a lasting impression.
Copartner, Ryan Ramirez notes Our new Domain Design Center builds on the steady growth of our Barton Creek location, that growth led to our decision to add a second location, in an effort to better serve both the customary gift-giving and more sophisticated interior design needs of our customers.
As with every niche product, blending various types of glass art and a client's8217;s vision isn'st for the novice, adds Ramirez. It requires first-hand experience, focus and a true love of blown glass artistic expression in order to meet each client'ss unique design goals.
With over 50 global artists, studios, and suppliers, 1020 Glass Art offers several distinct product categories. These include the traditional vases, sculptures and centerpieces, to distinctive and customized hand-blown glass art chandeliers and glass wall art plates. In addition, the company has designed and owns proprietary rights to such art original pieces as its Classic Longhorn Steer Sculpture, which has quickly become one of the company's8217;s 's8220;signature products's8221;, with strong sales nationwide. 1020 Glass Art continues to broaden its brand to include additional designs aside similar Texas-themed art.
David Mitchell, copartner who closely works with several interior design clients, comments, 's8220;Custom design based installations such as a recent glass wall art project in a residential high rise lobby has demonstrated the demand for our product and services. From small, personal residential d's233;cor and gifts to commercial endeavors, we understand a well trained staff is key to exceeding expectations's8221;.
1020 Glass Art 's38; Decor (www.1020glassart.com) was launched in 2006 by business partners Ramirez and David Mitchell, as a brick-and-mortar and e-commerce merchant specializing in high-quality, well-styled international glass art. The goal was to offer glass at affordable prices, starting in the $10 to $20 range, thus making it reasonable for value-minded buyers. Out of that objective came the store'ss name --1020. Clearly, the business plan has worked. Thanks to a targeted marketing plan and strong e-commerce sales, 1020 Glass Art 's38; D's233;cor has doubled its sales and customer base each year with customers as far away as New York, Miami and west of the Colorado Rockies, resulting in sales of thousands of unique works of art annually.
