Valron Strength Films Announces Price Increase

Houston, TX July 2, 2008 - Valron Strength Films has announced a 4% price increase effective August 1 to offset increasing raw material, energy and transportation costs incurred to produce and supply products. This increase is in addition to the previously announced 5% increase implemented on July 1, 2008.

Valron products can be found in a variety of industries ranging from print media and industrial packaging to construction products. Customers have found that Valron's unique cross-laminated technology provides the opportunity to down-gauge from heavier films and often replace more costly materials. The prospect of "doing more with less" has made Valron the choice for end users and converters in markets around the globe.
