For a small monthly fee, E.O.M.S. (Environmental Operations Management Services), based in Brockton, has provided Taylor Lumber with two large dumpsters; one for non-recyclables and one for cardboard and office paper. The internal program is helping recycle hundreds of pounds of waste each week.
"Everything these days is packed in cardboard, especially the hardware items," noted Andrew Taylor, the third generation of the Taylor family to assist with management of the Marshfield landmark. "This program is a win-win, for the environment and for us."
Taylor Lumber/ACE Hardware has maintained the old fashioned, personal service once offered by every good hometown lumber and hardware store. The Taylor family has been serving Marshfield's lumber and hardware needs for more than 50 years.
