Discount Birdhouses Opens New Store to Bring Nature Closer to Home
The variety of products available from Discount Birdhouses is impressive, with birdhouses in designs imitating lighthouses, churches, and even Noah's Ark, as well as classic and simple styles. "The items are very important to me, and I'm really pleased with the variety and uniqueness of the products," says Mike. "The quality is fantastic, and I'm really pleased with it. That's the main reason I decided to go with the distributor I chose. There's a page of hobby and theme birdhouses where you can get a gift for just about anybody. There's a Lady's Red Hat Club birdhouse, a John Deere birdhouse, a golf pro shop birdhouse... there's a little something for everybody."
Mike has also begun a blog at www.DecorativeBirdhouseBlog.com, allowing his customers to share their bird watching experiences and discuss his products. "Mainly I want to hear what people are looking for -- what they like, what they don't like," he explains. "I want to use it to pass on information that I have access to, as a kind of interaction with the people that end up on my site."
While the site includes wind chimes as well as birdhouses, bird feeders, and bird baths, Mike says that his future plans will center on bird-related items. "I want to keep it focused on birdhouses, birds, and bird watching, so I am going to bring in more products that relate to that aspect, as well as garden products that people might use in their gardens. I'm not going to stray too far out of that, but I will be bringing in new products as they become available. I just added a whole page of wind chimes, so I'll be expanding on that."
