Garden Decor Essentials Launches New Blog
"I started thinking about what I enjoy, what I like to share with people, and I looked around at things I like to do," explains Jan. "I chose gardening supplies because it's one of my favorite hobbies. I really love gardening and outdoorsy things, and I also like cute and attractive things, and I just want to share some of the things I like."
The nature of the Internet, however, removes the personal attention of a retail store. To counteract this, Jan has opened a blog at www.DiscountGardenDecorBlog.com, allowing her to discuss her store openly with her customers. "I want to share articles I discover about bird watching, gardening, and other information," says Jan. "How to select birdhouses for specific birds, for example. I'd also like to get to know some people and find out what interests are out there."
In the future, Jan plans on expanding to garden supplies beyond dcor items -- a topic for discussion on her blog -- but overall she's looking to serve her customers' needs. "I want my customers to be satisfied," she explains. "I want them to be happy with the products, to look and find what they want, and to enjoy them."
