GourmetStation Contest Promotes New Blog - Delicious Destinations



After a successful spring implementation of food and culture blog Delicious Destinations, GourmetStation announced today it will launch a summer blog contest. Contestants are invited to submit in 100 words or less how to host an outrageously fun summer dinner party. "With summer entertaining in full swing, we believe this is the perfect time to get our patrons to think about sharing ideas about summer hospitality and to reward the lucky winner with gourmet dinners for the rest of the summer" says Founder & President, Donna Lynes-Miller. "There is no better way to share ideas and reward the winner than our blog, Delicious Destinations."

Toby Bloomberg from Bloomberg Marketing and Cara Barineau from Blue Marble Media will be evaluating the entries along with employees from GourmetStation. "The entries will be judged on originality and creativity and we mean it when we say outrageously fun," says Toby Bloomberg.

The winner will be entitled to receive a GourmetStation three-course dinner for three months in a row. They may select from Parisian, Tuscan, Cajun or Fusion menus. Within those international menus they will then select hand-made appetizers like wild mushroom in phyllo pastry, entrees such as lemon herb salmon with creamy spinach and artichokes, and desserts like chocolate raspberry torte. Dinners are delivered nationwide - deep-chilled, ready to heat, plate and serve in about thirty minutes.

The results of the contest and the winning entry will be announced on Delicious Destinations blog by site and blog host, T. Alexander on August 1, 2005. No purchase is required and contestants may submit their 100 word or less entry to patronservice@gourmetstation with DELICIOUS DESTINATIONS CONTEST in subject line. Delicious Destinations also provides interviews with wine consultants and international travelers from time to time.
