Tis the Season for Improving Education

This Holiday season, children's apparel company, Star Ride Kids, is providing tools for better education with a free computer giveaway.

One first-prize winner will receive a laptop and a second-place winner will receive a desktop computer. In addition to the computer prize, the two lucky winners will also receive a new wardrobe that will take them back to school in style. Children of all ages are encouraged to enter anytime July 1 to Dec. 1, 2005.

Stephen Shalam, President of Star Ride Kids says, "We don't want to just donate dollars to charity, our mission is to get involved and positively impact the lives and education of children."

In a study conducted by Star Ride Kids, researchers found a staggering 80 percent improvement in school grades of children who were equipped with the tools to do their homework. Statistics also showed that children who feel good about what they are wearing have higher self esteem and overall better confidence resulting in improved classroom attention. A new computer along with a brand new wardrobe will give kids an extra edge this Holiday season when heading back to school from winter break.

"The Star Ride Kids Corporation believes in children and wants to do all we can to boost the esteem of children and help ensure their success" says Tea English, Director of Public Relations for Star Ride Kids, also noting that "we have set out to give back to the children of our community."

Select styles from the Star Ride Girls and Carter's Watch the Wear Fall 2005 Collections will be adorned with a Homework Helper Sweepstakes hangtag. On December 15, 2005, Star Ride Kids will host an event at a soon to be determined retail location to announce the Homework Helper winners.
