Blinds Chalet Publishes Instructional Video Cordless Roman Shades

This isn'st your mother'ss roman shade. To show how far this type of window treatment has progressed in style and design, Blinds Chalet'ss published a video clip of the Valencia cordless roman shade (http://www.blindschalet.com/cordlessromanshades.html) in action.

Traditional roman shades (http://www.blindschalet.com/window-shades/romanshades.html) fall straight down in one long fabric panel. When lifted, the shade raises in regularly overlapping folds, like an accordion. This roman shade is a little different and the only way to really show how unique the cordless lift feature is was to create an actual live demonstration, says Ron Manwaring of Blinds Chalet.

The cordless roman shade is raised by pushing up on the bottom handle of the shade instead using a cord lift, which makes it an ideal solution for a child'ss room. There are no cords hanging down. The shade is made with non-woven backing to give light control and a neutral color to the street. The material is a lightweight, 100% polyester fabric. Sides of the shade are hemmed and sewn to protect the edges of the shade. Installation is simple with a snap-in bracket.
