Bow Wow to Meow Opens New Online Store Provides Informational Blog

After operating a brick-and-mortar dog treat business, John and Rita Stites have recently moved online and opened www.BowWowToMeow.com, a store for pet clothing and accessories geared toward adoring pet owners. "First and foremost we are pet lovers," they explain, understating their obvious love for animals. "All of our products are hand-picked; we visited several shops to decide which products to present to our customers, having already researched finding items for our own three dogs. We're constantly adding new products, and always have items highlighted for weekly specials and monthly sales."

While John and Rita are admittedly "dog people", they understood that their new site needed a larger appeal. "Our products are mostly dog products," says John, "but half the country owns cats. We wanted to make sure we could also provide for the needs of feline lovers."

Always enthusiastic about their pets and their business, John and Rita also started www.BowWowToMeowBlog.com to interact with their customers and create an environment for pet lovers to congregate. "We want to provide an avenue for our customers and other pet lovers to come together for open discussions on pets and products; a place where we can really get a feel for what the customer wants. Being an ecommerce store rather than a brick-and-mortar store, we know there just isn't the same interaction with customers, and we hope to reopen this avenue of discussion and interaction on our blog." The blog will also deal with the site directly, providing product and sale information, as well as drawing attention to charities such as the Humane Society (to which the owners donate regularly).
