Designer Eyewear Site Launches New Blog

Newkirk is the proprietor of www.SunglassesAnytime.com, a web store he started in November 2007 that caters to selling high quality polarized eyewear at affordable prices. As a lifeguard, former Olympian and taking up residence in sunnier places such as St. Croix, Hawaii and Florida, Newkirk has become accustomed to using polarized sunglasses versus cheap eyewear that are purchased at gas stations.

When I started lifeguarding, I found myself paying $60 for a pair of glasses that turned out to not even be polarized, explained Newkirk. One day, I was working with a fellow guard, he said, 'sLook at that shark,'s pointing to a large, submerged shark entering the guarded area.

I couldn'st see it with my UVA (Ultraviolet A) glasses. He handed me his Polarized Glasses and there it was.

Becoming familiar with polarized sunglasses, Newkirk decided that they were imperative for people who live in brighter climates and who have occupations that require protection from the bright sun..

Within the last year and a half that Sunglasses Anytime has been operational, Newkirk has been able to stock some of the best brands and has developed a discount program for lifeguards who rely on polarized eyewear.

Additionally, the site has recently added a new informational blog, www.AllYourSunglassInfo.com.

I'sll be trying to educate my visitors about the importance of high quality sunglasses, said Newkirk. It'ss an effort to save people from the trials that I'sve experienced. Poor protection can be dangerous and I feel like the reviews on my blog will help.

Though Newkirk recognizes that some people may not need polarized sunglasses, per se, he is adamant that for the people who do need it such as lifeguards and surfers, these types of glasses are necessary.

I think that it'ss important for people to know that you get what you pay for, but it'ss also important to let people know about the quality that goes into the lenses for the sunglasses that people are purchasing, he said.
