www.myMountaineers.com just launched a fun, free and easy-to-use online portal and social community for WV Mountaineer fans and WVU students, alumni and alumni groups to gather online and discuss the latest topics and football season. There are no costs to join myMountaineers and membership and access to all content will always remain free.



The site provides members with all the latest services including news, comments, discussion boards, polls, photo gallery, blogs/journals, pod casts and video blogs.



It also offers a completely unique application for members to collaborate and collectively write online eBooks through the 's8216;myBooks's8217; section or http://mymountaineers.com/book.



The initial ebooks online include:

myMountaineers has been started by Jeremy Drzal, a 1992 West Virginia University graduate, who developed the site to bring remote friends and alumni together in a fun and useful way through an independent online community. The site can make life easier for alumni and other groups to take advantage of the latest Internet tools to help grow local and national groups. It also offers professionals more ways to expand their networks, recruit for jobs and the promotion of West Virginia graduates and individuals interested in the Mountaineers.
