Test for Less with American Mensas Spring Doubleheader This April

Arlington, TX April 3, 2009 -- American Mensa announces the return of the successful Spring Doubleheader to be held during the month of April. Anyone who buys a Mensa Home Test from April 1-30, 2009 will receive $5 off (regular price $18). Then, if they return the completed Mensa Home Test by May 31, they'sll receive a coupon worth $5 off the Mensa Admission Test (regular price $40) which will be valid until July 31, 2009.

The Mensa Home Test is designed to give an understanding of what to expect from American Mensa'ss supervised test, said Pam Donahoo, Executive Director at American Mensa. The Spring Doubleheader encourages those who are on the fence about testing for Mensa to give it a try. It also encourages those who are interested in our organization to test at a reduced price and see what membership benefits Mensa has to offer.

The Mensa Home Test is not mandatory for membership and is only available for those ages 14 and older. The Mensa Home Test will not qualify a person for Mensa membership. To learn more or order a Mensa Home Test, visit www.us.mensa.org/MHT.

To become a member of Mensa, a person can either present evidence of a prior test score, or take the supervised American Mensa Admission Test or Culture Fair test given by a Mensa Proctor. If an individual scores at or above the 98th percentile on either of the two tests, you'sll qualify for the organization and be invited to join. Those 14 years and older may take the test. American Mensa currently accepts more than 200 tests as prior evidence. To see a list of scores, visit www.us.mensa.org/scores. You may submit evidence of prior testing at any age.
