Holiday tradition has turned into a business venture for a Michigan woman who used a toy and her children'ss imaginations to create a make-believe world. Now, the mother of three is creating Christmas presents for kids who dream of a winter wonderland to call their own.







Joanna Accetta, president of Santa'ss Magic Elf, LLC, has rolled out Peek-A-Boo the Magic Elf, just in time for Christmas 2006.



Peek-A-Boo is one of the best Christmas presents for kids because the festive plush Elf can spark creativity and give children something to look forward to every year, she said.



Peek-A-Boo the Magic Elf offers a magical way for children to experience how much fun it is to have one of Santa'ss magic elves visiting their home, Accetta said. Since the children don'st know where the elf hides each night, there'ss a new adventure every morning when they awake.



Peek-A-Boo has a rich history. Years ago, Accetta began entertaining her three daughters by building the imaginary world of Peek-A-Boo, one of Santa'ss elves. Every year after Thanksgiving Peek-A-Boo came for a stay at the Accetta home; on Christmas Eve he returned to the North Pole with Santa.



During the elf'ss visit, Joanna and her daughters spun tales about his escapades. Out of this tradition grew the business of making Christmas presents for kids.



Throughout the years I'sve received numerous phone calls from curious parents who had heard about our tradition, Accetta said. That'ss when I decided to create this adorable elf with all of his silly adventures to share with children everywhere.



The elf comes with a guide to help parents create nightly adventures for their children that center around Peek-A-Boo'ss visit.
