Kamacho LLC announced today the beta release of the Track-n-Graph service, a free web-based tracking service that allows users to track, graph, and share information on the Web. The Web 2.0 landscape is full of community websites, on-line spreadsheets, and tools that are targeted at specific information needs, such as weight loss, diet and exercise, baby development, financial budgeting, sales goals, website visits, and friend counts for social networks.
Track-n-Graph breaks through the limitations of today's existing solutions by letting users define what information they want to track, how they want to collect it, and how and who they
want to view it. Instead of signing up for multiple sites or services, web users sign up for Track-n-Graph and have a single source for all of their tracking needs.
With the Track-n-Graph service, users have the ability to create a tracker based on their specific needs, or they can use the unique Tracker Catalog (TM) to find a Tracker Template (TM)
that already tracks the information they want to collect. These Tracker Templates are created and shared by Track-n-Graph users who have submitted them for community use. Examples of
templates that exist in the Tracker Catalog are listed below:
* Weight Tracker - A template designed to track weight over time, showing weight loss compared to a desired goal, including a BMI calculation
* Calorie Counter - A template designed to track how many calories are consumed by meal, showing daily totals compared against the U.S.D.A. dietary guidelines
* Child Growth Tracker - A template designed to let parents record the weight and length of their child during the first few years of development and compare against standard percentile
groupings from the World Health Organization
* Miles per Gallon Tracker - A template designed to track odometer readings and gasoline purchases over time, great for analyzing how much a user is spending on gas and how the car is
performing over time
The power of the Track-n-Graph service lies in the fact that users are not limited by what has already been defined; they can create their own trackers as well as customize existing
templates to meet their specific needs. The easy-to-use interface allows users to add and update data quickly, and they see the results in their brightly colored and interactive graph
immediately. Track-n-Graph mobile features allow users to enter and update their data on a mobile phone or device, so they can keep their tracker up to date away from the computer. Beyond
collecting data, the Track-n-Graph service offers powerful sharing and publishing features if users want to share their information with other people.
Track-n-Graph Sharing
Track-n-Graph sharing allows users to make their trackers and graphs available to groups of users that they trust. Users can share information in a "View Only" mode where trusted members
can only view their data, or they can share information in "Team Tracker" mode. "Team Tracker" mode allows all the members of the trusted group to enter data into the tracker and graph
their data along with the other members. Team trackers are great for friendly weight loss competitions, project teams, training teams, or just about any time a team of people want to
jointly track and share information.
Track-n-Graph Publishing for Bloggers, Social Networks, and Web Publishers
Track-n-Graph publishing features allow users to make any of their graphs available to the public using a unique URL address or the Track-n-Graph embedded graph viewer. The unique URLs
can be sent in email, posted on blogs, social networks, submitted to websites, or included in traditional communications. The embedded graph viewer provides simple HTML that can be
included in a website, blog, or social networking profile for hosting an interactive, live Track-n-Graph view.
Pricing
The Track-n-Graph service is offered for FREE as an advertising supported service for both personal and business use. A Track-n-Graph PRO subscription is available for $24.95 USD per year
or $5 USD per tracker. The Track-n-Graph PRO subscription removes the advertising, provides mobile data entry, importing from files support, easy printing, and the ability to take
snapshot images of graphs for easy emailing or posting.
