Vineyard Wine Cellars of Houston Introduces Smart Wine Cellars

Vineyard Wine Cellars announces the availability of their innovative Smart Wine Cellars that incorporate three different levels of cellar monitoring and inventory management. Featuring round the clock monitoring and state-of-the-art inventory management, Vineyard Wine Cellars's8217; Smart Wine Cellars bring a level of insurance and peace of mind to wine collectors looking to protect their valuable collections.



The Level One Smart Wine Cellar incorporates a special thermostat and auto dialer technology. If for some reason the temperature breaches a predetermined threshold, a refrigeration technician is paged immediately and arrives at the home within four hours to assess the situation and make any necessary repairs.



The Level Two Smart Wine Cellar monitors both temperature and humidity using up to 6 remote sensors in the cellar and adds the ability to view wine cellar conditions over the Internet in real time utilizing a graph that is published on a password protected web page. The Level Three package adds the ability to manage your wine collection via the only automated Wine Management System on the market 's8211; eSommelier. The protection of Levels One or Two are combined with the dual functionality of the eSommelier. The eSommelier system consists of a touch screen computer interface that gives collectors unprecedented control over managing and searching their wine cellar and a temperature / humidity sensor that stores the climate data in the system.



Collectors will have a running history of the climate conditions in their cellars, a state of the art wine inventory system and 24 hour climate monitoring. Serious collectors appreciate the fact they will have a running history of the provenance of their collection.

Pricing on the Level One, Two and Three Smart Wine Rooms varies depending on the size and scope of the wine cellar and will include a monthly monitoring fee. MSRP of the eSommelier Wine Management System with the Bar Coding Kit and sensor is $8,000.
